As many will already be aware, currently their is a consultation ongoing regarding the dualling of the A350 from Bumpers Farm up towards Lackham.
It is vital that residents have their say on the design of the project.
Many residents have raised concerns including around:
- the noise;
- diversion of rights of way;
- lack of clarity over suitable wildlife crossings; and
- safety and environmental issues arising from the proposed speed limit increases over much of the road.

- There will also be a presentation to Chippenham Town Council's Planning subcommittee on Thursday 26th January, starting at 6:25pm at the town hall. These meetings are open to the public, so please feel free to attend (you are only asked to register if you would like to speak during the public question time).
