Wiltshire Council has published a update on Storm Ciarán, which I have shared below.
"While the worst of Storm Ciarán has now passed Wiltshire, our teams remain on standby to deal with any flooding incidents or fallen trees.
More rain is expected over the coming days, and as the ground is already saturated, there could be some risk of flooding in some areas of the county.
Some river Flood Alerts and Flood Warnings remain in place in some parts of the county. Flood Alerts mean that flooding is possible and people should be alert, while Flood Warnings mean that flooding is expected and people should start acting on their flood plans. To check whether there are alerts or warnings in place in your area, please see the latest flood alerts and warnings. You should also sign up for Environment Agency flood warnings for up-to-date information, and to know what to do in case of flooding.
In areas at risk of groundwater flooding, mostly in the south of the county, groundwater levels look to be normal but are rising. However, this can change following heavy rain, so people in these areas should still be alert and ensure they are signed up for flood warnings.
Please report any incidents of flooding or fallen trees through MyWilts."
