I have received many messages and emails regarding the current state of the Lime Kiln Leisure Centre and after lobbying Wiltshire Council with local councillors. I am thrilled to share that improvements are finally on the horizon for Lime Kiln Leisure Centre! 🏋️♂️🏊♀️
Here's what you can expect:
🚧 Phase 1:
- A fresh look for the outside porch
- Updated flooring in the front entrance, corridor, and downstairs studio
🔧 Phase 2:
- Refurbished pool changing rooms
- Revamped poolside flooring and pool hall decor
Timeline:
- Phase 1 is already underway and set to wrap up by early May.
- Phase 2 is slated to kick off in June 2024 and conclude by July 2024.
- We're committed to minimizing disruptions during this process and will keep you informed every step of the way!
Impact on Users:
- During Phase 1, the main entrance will be temporarily relocated, and the squash court will be closed until early May. Look out for signs directing you to the temporary entrance.
- For Phase 2, customers using the changing rooms are advised to come ready to exercise and leave wet, similar to pandemic swimming restrictions.
- The swimming pool will be closed for a brief two-week period during Phase 2 for flooring and decoration works.
