It is saddening to hear the end of the mobile bank branch service offered by Lloyds Bank on 31st May 2024. This is apart of a national suspension of the service.
In August last year, I visited the staff at the mobile branch in Calne and saw first hand how utilised the branch was by local people and businesses. The impact of this is devastating to local people and communities, especially those who struggle to travel further afield to the banks branches.

Calne will be having a banking hub opening soon however this is still in progress - meaning this could leave a gap in service provisions for the local area. (Updates found here: https://bit.ly/47v46WC)
